A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT:

Welcome to the NAHSE Baltimore Chapter. It is an honor to serve as President of this incredible organization and to continue the work of strengthening healthcare leaders across our region.
My journey with NAHSE Baltimore began in service – first as Secretary, then as Chief of Staff while completing my Master of Health Administration at Johns Hopkins University. Each role deepened my commitment to advancing health equity, developing emerging leaders, and building a chapter that reflects the strength, brilliance, and resilience of Baltimore. Today, as President, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead alongside a dedicated team and a community of members who care deeply about impact. Our vision is simple and powerful: to be a pillar for both talent and transformation. We are committed to cultivating a strong pipeline of exceptional leaders, creating opportunities for students and early‑career professionals, and ensuring that Baltimore’s healthcare workforce reflects the communities we serve. At the same time, we aim to be a support system for our city – championing health equity, uplifting community voices, and partnering with organizations that share our belief that every Baltimore resident deserves access to high‑quality, compassionate care. As we grow, we will continue to expand our programming, strengthen our internship and mentorship initiatives, and build meaningful collaborations across the region. Most importantly, we will remain rooted in service, leadership, and the collective power of our members. Thank you for being part of this work. Whether you are a long‑standing member, a new face, or a future leader exploring NAHSE for the first time, we are grateful you’re here. Together, we will continue to elevate Black leadership in healthcare and advance equity for the city we proudly call home.
