MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT:
SHANNON JONES

​I’m excited to serve as the 2024-2025 President and build on the strong foundation that has been set by previous leaders for the Baltimore Chapter. In January I met with the Executive Board and shared a theme of “Less is More.” The intention of this theme is to execute meaningful, high impact programs that are aligned to the national mission and vision while prioritizing the well-being of the Board to mitigate burnout which we know is prevalent in the healthcare industry. I’m grateful to work with such a talented and committed Board and to continue to benefit from the wisdom of our immediate Past-President, Audrey Johnson. I look forward to working in partnership with you to contribute to advancing representation of Blacks in healthcare leadership and to improve the quality of care provided to historically marginalized communities, with connection to purpose as stated in our guiding principles:
